AmigoLatino was launched by a passionate team of entrepreneurs with the goal of helping to democratize access to innovative channels that enhance cross-border communications and e-commerce initiatives in under-served markets.

We are big believers in our responsibility to leverage the benefits and efficiencies of technology to drive positive change on peoples lives around the world (especially in under-served markets).

As a result, one of our main channels "AMIGO LIVE" leverages business quality video conferencing to help reunite distant families, community groups and organizations, in real-time and at a low cost, between the US and Latin America. Another one of our main channels,"AMIGO COMPRAS" , provides families with new and efficient alternatives to the traditional cash remittance transfers, while allowing for control towards the final utilization of the funds. Very soon we will be expanding the depth and breadth of our services to the rest of the world!

  

AmigoLatino initiated operations in 2002 with offices between Guatemala and the United States. A network of company owned and affiliated offices was quickly added to serve some of the most important cities in the U.S., Spain and Latin America. We continue to work diligently to expand the coverage and relevance of our network to other regions around the world, so that more families and businesses can benefit from the value that our services provide.
